HIV, also known as Human Immunodeficiency Virus or AIDS, is a virus that attacks cells in the body that fights infections. HIV condemns a person to be more susceptible to infections and diseases.
HIV test or screening is the only way to identify for certain whether a person is positive. Our anonymous HIV test is a private and confidential session performed using a rapid test with results available in just minutes. To help them better understand your situation and provide you with better service and advice, our professional healthcare provider will speak to our patients about sexual well-being and the reason you’ve decided to take a test before you actually do. Before the test, a patient will be asked to complete a simple form that will be used to collect demographic data for the Ministry of Health, but rest assured no personal information such as name or contact number will be recorded. Official bodies will never be notified if the result is positive as no personal information was registered.
A positive result will normally lead to treatment programs, including 3rd Generation Ab-only Test (known as an antibody-only test, detects antibodies that the body produces in response to an HIV infection), and 4th Generation Combo Test (advanced HIV diagnostic tool that detects both HIV antibodies and HIV p24 antigens). The tests are conducted with the utmost care and confidentiality, ensuring peace of mind and accurate results for our patients.
