Effective Treatments for Premature Ejaculation

Delayed ejaculation is characterized by a prolonged delay in reaching ejaculation during sexual activity, or the complete inability to ejaculate (men with latencies more than 25-30 minutes are considered having DE). It could be from physical factors such as side effects of medications, substance usage, nerve damage, hormonal deficiencies, or from psychological factors that include mood disorders, performance anxiety, etc.

Primary Delayed Ejaculation

This happens in men who have always had difficulty ejaculating.

Secondary Delayed Ejaculation

This occurs in men who previously had no problems with ejaculation but have recently developed difficulties. It could from both physical and psychological matters.

Addressing psychological factors through sex therapy or counselling to reduce anxiety and improve sexual response.
