Delayed ejaculation is characterized by a prolonged delay in reaching ejaculation during sexual activity, or the complete inability to ejaculate (men with latencies more than 25-30 minutes are considered having DE). It could be from physical factors such as side effects of medications, substance usage, nerve damage, hormonal deficiencies, or from psychological factors that include mood disorders, performance anxiety, etc.
This happens in men who have always had difficulty ejaculating.

Addressing psychological factors through sex therapy or counselling to reduce anxiety and improve sexual response.
Assessing and adjusting all medications taken, whether prescribed or over-the-counter, that may be contributing to delayed ejaculation.
Assessing and treating underlying medical conditions that may be causing DE.
Testosterone replacement if hormonal deficiencies are identified.
